Dr. Azad Chalikuzhi is GIS's General Manager for the GCC area and is responsible for business development, marketing and customer relations in the region.

Azad has more than15 years of professional experience as a Management Consultant and Trainer both in public and private sector organizations. Azad has been a Consultant to five new business ventures and two social initiatives he has experience of working in 4 countries in the Middle East and in India and has travelled to more than 18 countries. Azad is a natural leader who passionately believes in the power leadership and management in bringing about business and social change.

Azad has taught management courses in University of Bahrain and Strathclyde University MBA Program and regularly trains project and program managers for their Project Management Professional (PMP) and program Management Professional (PgMP) certifications examinations and additionally conducts Communications Skills workshops for senior executives and project managers.

Azad has a wealth of experience consulting to customers in organisations such as Central Informatics Oraganisation (Bahrain), Ministry of Interior (Qatar), ARSCO (KSA), PMI Arabian Gulf Chapter, Tatweer Petroleum (Bahrain), Cookson Plc., Infodata Ltd., Parsn Technologies, Salbhavana Word School (India) etc..

Azad holds a PhD in Strategy, Program & Project Management from Skema Business School, France and MBA in Marketing. He also holds PMP and PgMP certifications from Project Management Institute (PMI) and Competent Communicator (CC) and Advance Toastmaster (ATM) certifications from Toastmasters International (TMI). Graduate of PMI Leadership Institutes Masters Class.
